Mr. Prabhat Chandra was born on 24th February, 1962 in Yamunanagar, Haryana in an affluent family of town. Even though he had the privilege to be able to live in luxury since childhood, he chose a very simple lifestyle and always believed in “Simple Living, High Thinking”.
It was in the year 2005, that Mr. Prabhat Chandra had to separate from his family business and start his professional journey all over again from scratch. With no financial resources or business set-up with him but only vision and determination in him, Mr. Prabhat Chandra took over the name of an old company that was founded in the year 1987 “Chanderpur Board Mill (C.B.M)” and laid the foundation of “C.B.M Engineering Works in the year 2006. With very humble beginnings in the year 2006, CBM Engineering Works entered into the fabrication industry and started to manufacture rolled pipes on job work basis for various clients in the local market.
Always having the vision to make CBM an international organization, Mr. Prabhat Chandra got the opportunity to execute a small portion of Hydro power project in Nepal in the year 2016 and took it as the first step to make CBM Engineering Works an internationally known company.
CBM Engineering entered into Nepal market in the year 2016 and was able to capture the hydro-mechanical market in a very short span of time. Not only clients, CBM Engineering was recommended equally by the project consultants, engineers and other persons related to the Hydro-Power Project.
Being a great visionary that he was, Mr. Prabhat Chandra wanted CBM to expand its footprints beyond Nepal and that is when he started to look for other opportunities in the global market.
Under the leadership of Mr. Prabhat Chandra, the company was able to bag an order for execution of project in Ivory Coast in the year 2017 and the company successfully completed all its scope of works under the contract agreement in a short span of 1 year with a local partner.
CBM Engineering Works had gained immense manufacturing experience in the past years and decided to work as a leading contractor for the years to come and developed its team to be able to compete in the global market.
Mr. Prabhat Chandra laid the foundation stone of making CBM Engineering Works a global company and carved the path to the company’s success.
In the year 2018, Mr. Prabhat Chandra decided to convert the company from a proprietorship firm to a Private limited company which would ensure more professionalism in the company and also give the opportunity to other people to be part of the company . Thus came into existence
